Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka) @ Kuala Lumpur

I am on my way from Central Market to the Independence Square in Kuala Lumpur. The yearly independence day parade will be held here. When you out from Central Market (behind), you should be able to see Loke Yew building first. Then you will see Wisma Straits Trading. Then you will be able to see a tall flag pole. There is a historical Sultan Abdul Samad buidling. It was build during the 1800s.

Holiday Villa hotel, Subang Jaya

I stayed here during my company system migration. Due to the non availability or another hotel near by my company, we choose this hotel. In term of room size, the room is quite big. This hotel has an old interior and my only complain here was its shower. The water is so slow and without any force. At that night, I am quite rush to sleep and have to wait for slow dripping water for shower. Moreover, the TV sets don't work and the air-condition is quite old and noisy. I would rate this hotel as a moderate hotel.

If you can't take exotic food, you may also try their chicken herbal soup which is quite tasty and the amount of Chinese herbs that they put in each coconut shell or bowl is amazing. I always like their wild boar curry and their braised mutton which hard to get elsewhere.
